Introduction

The User Experience Initiative (UXI) Design Pattern Library is a collection of patterns and variations representing consensus solutions to design problems. The Design Pattern Library comprises:

  • Page, container, component, and control-level design patterns
  • Meta-patterns that combine several smaller patterns
  • Functional patterns that describe larger task flows

Purpose

The UXI Design Pattern Library currently consumes and is informed by the Kuali Student User Interaction Model (UIM). Pattern variations and new patterns recommended by the UXI team for use across Kuali applications are documented here.
